Yuka Mission Hospital Maternity Annex, Children's Ward and Radiology Unit Commissioned

President Hichilema commissioned a new maternity annex, children's ward, and radiology unit at Yuka Mission Hospital in Kalabo District, Western Province, on 6 May 2026. The three facilities were constructed by the Seventh-day Adventist (SDA) Church in partnership with the Government. The commissioning formed part of a two-day tour of duty to Western Province focused on community development and healthcare delivery.
