How content from the HH Presidential Archive may and may not be used.
Purpose of This Archive
The Presidential Archive is a state digital repository established to preserve a factual, structured, and enduring record of the presidency of Hakainde Hichilema, seventh President of the Republic of Zambia. It is maintained to institutional archival standards and is intended to serve as a permanent public resource for the people of Zambia and the wider world.
The archive is not a news service, a political platform, or a campaign tool. It records what happened. It does not argue about what it means.
Permitted Use
Content published in this archive may be used freely for the following purposes:
- Academic research, scholarly study, and educational reference
- Journalism and independent reporting on matters of public interest
- Personal reference and private study
- Citation in academic papers, theses, and published works, with appropriate attribution
- Non-commercial public interest use, including by civil society organisations, libraries, and educational institutions
Prohibited Use
The following uses of content from this archive are not permitted:
- Misrepresentation of archived content, including selective quotation that distorts the meaning or intent of a speech or statement

Where content from this archive is cited, quoted, or referenced in any publication, broadcast, or digital platform, appropriate attribution should be given to the HH Presidential Archive (hh-archive.mulikita.com). For direct quotations from presidential speeches, the original speech should be cited as the primary source, with the archive noted as the repository.

Presidential speeches, official statements, and other documents produced in the exercise of official government functions are in the public domain as official state records. However, the original editorial content of this archive — including speech summaries, achievement descriptions, state visit records, photo captions, and all other editorial text produced by the archive — is the intellectual property of the archive and may not be reproduced in bulk or in substantial part without permission.
Photographs published in this archive remain subject to the copyright of their respective photographers and original sources, as noted in individual captions. The archive does not claim ownership of third-party photographs.
Accuracy and Liability
