Kafue Gorge Lower Hydropower Station Commissioned

Fully commissioned the 750 MW Kafue Gorge Lower Hydropower Station in March 2023, boosting national generation capacity by nearly 38%. The project created approximately 15,000 local jobs during construction and spurred surrounding infrastructure development including roads, boreholes and a secondary school.
